Mazda MX 5 is one of the best sold convertibles on the market. In its 21 years of history, the MX 5 saw three different generations, numerous design update, and even has been announced for the fourth generation that is set to be launched in 2012. Now the brand is set to improve on this philosophy by adding affordability to the mx with a new entry-level MX 2 roadster rumored to be in development 2013.
Mazda MX 5 2013 is chipping away at the next MX 5 gram by gram, literally. The New model, which we expect at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Show will feature the company’s new kodo design language and high compression variant of its sky engine line. Our insider say the new roadster will employ the RX 8 philosophy Mazda bills as a super front midship four cylinder layout. In Japan-speak that refers to a four cylinder engine mounted aft of the front axle for optimum front/rear weight balance.
